This is a test of the new Monks & Friars newsletter. Having a newsletter through Substack (the platform that this newsletter is being sent on) is good for several reasons. First, it allows access to people who may not want to join but do want to see what we are up to. Organizations, such as the local museums and historic villages can subscribe to our newsletter, as well as the general public, and the site will keep track of subscribers for us.
